EXPLORING THE SEA OF PEARLS
 (9 DAYS/8 NIGHTS)

Yangon-Myeik-Yangon

MYEIK: The Myeik archipelago situated on the southern Taninthayi Division of Myanmar ( formerly known as Tennaserim coast of Burma. Around and on the east of Myeik, there are many valuable tin mines, oil palm plantation, rubber plantation and evergreen forest. On the Andaman sea, many valuable Pearl breedings and fishing beds can observe in the sea. Pearl Island is the source of high quality pearls, and fishing is the traditional business along the coastal sea and islands. There are about 804 spotted islands scattered across the blue sea along the Taninthayi coast and the city is on the island in the mouth of Taninthayi river.

KAWTHAUNG: Kawthung is the southernmost tip of Myanmar and about 800Km from Yangon, the city retains the atmosphere as fishing port. Once the British named as Victoria point. So the port lies right on the pointed tip of the tanesserim peninsula.It is known as the busy fishing port. Can visit to ThaHtay Kyun ( Boss Island ) within 10 minutes from Kawthaung.

THA HTAY KYUN: where Andaman Club is located Zadakale ( St Luke ) Island,
across the Andaman sea. ThaHtay Kyun has beaches but it coast is too rocky for swimming. Can visit to the Islands nearby in this archipelago to explore the
underwater coral garden where nobody had never been. The Islands nearby are
the island of Dawei fisherman inhabited for many years known as the Salons or 
Sea Gypsies who sail around the islands.

THE SALONS; have been known by various names, such as Orang Basin, Chaunam ( water folk ) by Thais and Mae Ken by themselves. They all living along the coastal Islands and sails around for fishing and diving.

MYEIK THE CITY OF MERGUI ARCHIPELAGO

DAY 01: ARRIVAL YANGON

Arrival at Yangon airport and transfer to Hotel. Dinner and O/N in Yangon.

DAY 02: YANGON

Sightseeing in Yangon, ( Shwedagon Pagoda, ChaukHtatKyi reclining Buddha Image, Kandawgyi Royal Lake, Bottung Pagoda, Sule downtown Pagoda. ) Dinner and O/N in Yangon.

DAY 03: YANGON - MYEIK

Yangon to Myeik by flight, sightseeing in Myeik and O/N in Myeik.

DAY 04: PEARL ISLAND

After breakfast, excursion to the spotted Islands, mainly to the villages on the Pearl and Lumpi Islands. O/N in Pearl Island, experiencing on the way of life of the Tribal fisherman ( Sea Gypsies ) in the sea.

DAY 05: SERGENT ISLAND

Travel to the next Sergent Island for diving and snorkeling around the Island. O/N on Island.

DAY 06: METCALFE ISLAND

Travel to Baily and Metcalfe Island for diving and snorkeling under water. O/N on Island.

DAY 07: ELPHINSTONE ISLAND

Travel to Elphinstone Island for trekking and diving. O/N on Vessel or on Island.

DAY 08: MYEIK

Return to Myeik and O/N in Myeik.

DAY 09: MYEIK - YANGON

Return to Yangon by flight . O/N in Yangon.

DAY 10: DEPARTURE DAY

Shopping in the morning and transfer to airport for International flight departure.
