Excursion to Thanlyin Tour (-/L/-)
Excursion to Syriam @ Thanlyin, once a major port. It is an
oil refinery and part industrial zone. Visit KYAUKTAN YELE PAGODA
(middle stream) temple, set on a tiny island in the river and
explore two further pagodas and the riverside market. The longest
bridge in Myanmar lies between Yangon and Thanlyin. It takes only an
hour-drive to reach Thanlyin. Lunch at local restaurant.

Excursion to Bago by road, 110km. An ancient capital dating
back to the 6th century sightseeing includes the SHWEMAWDAW PAGODA.
And then tour to Shwe Thar Lyaung Pagoda, Bago Market. Lunch at
local restaurant. After lunch, return by road to yangon, visiting
enroute the World War II Allied War Grave cemetery near HTAUKKYANT.

After breakfast , a long excursion by road, 190km east of Yangon to
KYAIKHTIYO.
Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch to see the GOLDEN ROCK, a
huge boulder completely covered by gold leaf and delicately balanced
on the edge of a cliff. Atop the boulder is a gilded pagoda, said to
hold a hair of Buddha. Pilgrimes walk the twisting 10km. Footpath
through bamboo forests, but tourists can travel to the rock by small
open trucks, taking one hour. Dinner at local restaurant and
overnight at Golden Rock Hotel.

After breakfast, continue by road 110km to BGO. On the way,
excursion to Bago sightseeing to Traditional Market, Chinese Temple
