INSURANCE: People are strongly recommended to take out their own fully comprehensive insurance.
CANCELLATION CONDITIONS:
Counting back from the cruise departure date:
60 days or more
: deposit returned minus bank charges
Between 45 and 60 days : deposit lost
Between 30 and 44 days : 50% of total price returned
Less than 30 days
: total price lost
FORCE MAJEURE:
If, before the start of the Cruise, Acts of God, political incident, perils of sea, Force Majeure or heavy weather covering the cruise route or ports of call should render sailing inadvisable or dangerous to the life or health of the passengers or to the vessel, the vessel captain, with or without consultation, shall have the right to delay the cruise. Likewise, in the course of the execution of the cruise, should heavy weather or Force Majeure events occur to make it inadvisable for passengers to land, or for the vessel to enter a port, the vessel captain shall have the right to delay or postpone sailing until conditions permit the parties to make adjustments to the itinerary including cancellation of certain landfalls or the re-sequencing of island visits.
MERGUI ARCHIPELAGO - MYANMAR CRUISES: If circumstances should arise such as political unrest, fighting on the Thai/Burma border, flight cancellations or any other risk to customers or vessels, South East Asia Liveaboards Co Ltd reserves the right to cancel the trip. If this should be the case, we would re-route the trip to another destination at no extra cost to customers.
VISA & PASSPORT – MYANMAR (BURMA) TRIPS: Clients joining in Phuket or Ranong do not need to apply for Myanmar Visas at Myanmar Embassies. Clients will be issued with Myanmar Entry Permits (which includes a 30 day Visa) on arrival in Kawthoung (southern port of Myanmar).
ALTERNATIVE TRAVEL ROUTE FOR MYANMAR TRIPS: Clients have a choice of either joining these trips at our Dive Centre in Phuket, or flying direct to Ranong (Thai side of Thai/Myanmar border). Phuket Airlines operate daily flights from Bangkok to Ranong (arriving 14.30 hrs). We can pick up at Ranong Airport at 14.30 hrs.
PHUKET AIRPORT TRANSFER to PATONG: US$16 for 1 per pax (private taxi)
US$11 each for 2 to 3 pax (private taxi)
US$40 for private minibus (max 8 pax)
KAWTHOUNG AIRPORT TRANSFER to KAWTHOUNG: US$15 per taxi.
MEDICAL AND HEALTH: SEAL (South East Asia Liveaboards Co Ltd) cannot give advice on medical matters. Clients should discuss immunisation for tropical diseases with their doctor and follow his/her advice.

The Andaman Sea along the coastline of Thailand and Myanmar (Burma) has a tropical climate with two distinct seasons, although the effects of the rainy season vary across the country.
